| 自己紹介 | Hello students. My name is Brian and I hope to have an opportunity to be selected as your teacher. I'm 28 years old living in the United States. I have been a teacher for 2 1/2 years. I have taught Chinese students and Korean students from young students to high school level. I also have taught adults as well while being a Post Graduate Student at the University of Southern California. I can help with a variety of tasks from Daily Conversation to Formal English to "Slang" to Academic English. I'm also Asian so I understand the culture as well. I speak some Japanese as I am a big fan of Japanese culture and one of my hobbies is Anime and Manga (Bleach is my favorite). I'm also a United States Soldier (Part time) as a Military Police officer. Feel free to ask my anything you would like. Even the questions that you may feel is not a "smart" question, can help you tremendously. The saying is that "A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer."-Bruce Lee/Lee Jun Fan I look forward to meeting you online and who knows, maybe even in person one day! (I travel to Asia frequently). Materials for lesson: I will inform you based on your progress and the subject matter. Web Cameras: I will always use cameras unless told otherwise. Basic Lesson schedule: Almost available all the time until told otherwise. Long Vacations: Even on my vacations I still like to teach online. I will let inform you if I'm unavailable (If I am travelling, internet not good. etc.) Strong at: Patience. Speaking another language is challenging. I know and understand. I speak other languages too! So don't feel rushed to learn. It takes time. Weakness: I may mumble and get "wordy" at times. It happens. I'm a post-graduate student who writes many papers and speaks often. I apologize. |
